The incentive for setting up this Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) was a passion for art in all its shapes and forms. Moreover, it is the compassion for people, whose talents are not fully recognised and/or appreciated in its full potential. That is how the idea to set up Elpida was first born. We wish to support art, which brings joy, beauty, and hope in all its positive forms. Based on this idea came the vision to actively support all kinds or art work, which carries these ideals in them. Furthermore, we wish to seek out and support talented people in all the different areas of art. To bring art and beauty back to the human kind!  Upon first impression one could think that the ideal way to support artists would be to create an environment in which they can fully exploit their potentials. One must not forget that everydays joys nad sorrows are the very essence of "Life in itself" .... and therefore the most valuable source of inspiration. It folows, that our aim is to present art work of such artists on our website, resulting in continuous support through sales activities, organising fares or workshops of creative art. Any adult, who shows genuine interest in art , art objects, and art work can be a member of our organisation. Everyone with a feeling for art is most welcome. The revenues from our organisation will be used mainly to finacially support talented people, who would otherwise not be given the opportunity to further exapnd and develop their talents. The other stream of funds will go towards childrens and other orhaniges. To he able to have a hobby at any age and to reap joy which results from engaging in something one feels passionate about is a valuable vontribution to its surroundings This is our vision, sincere wish and effort. WE wish to be here for everyone , who feels addressed by art in whatever shape or form and who can address us.
